Today marks six months to go until the start of the London 2012 Games. To celebrate this date it has been announced that the Olympic Village has been handed over by the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) so officials can start the huge process of fitting-out the new apartments ready for the arrival of more than 10,000 athletes. In other Games-related news, G4S, the security provider to the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, has opened its new London 2012 Recruitment Centre as it seeks to recruit 10,000 security personnel for the Olympic Games. The new centre in Stratford is already testing candidates to identify the right staff to man venues and other posts both in and outside of the Olympic Park. View more information here.
