All business ratepayers in the Business Improvement District pay the BID levy, with the exception of non-trading charities, the library, advertising hoardings and telecom installations, unless directly connected to a profit-making business. The levy is 2% of a business’ ratable value.
 
There is a minimum "joining fee" for small businesses and the rate is capped for our biggest contributors.
